Vehicle Detail

I say this is a rare opportunity because I've been watching the solid axle cars for years and all I ever see are fully restored NCRS cars, resto-mods, baskets, and NOMs. This is a solid number matching restoration candidate that can be driven while it is restored. There are no missing pieces, it is all there; including a NOS dual point distributor, an NOS oil pan, 4 NCRS quality hubcaps with new spinners, new and installed black vinyl top, new front license plate assembly. The reserve is considerably lower than the median market price for this condition. This car sits for many months at a time and always starts right up. I have owned for 4 years and driven less than 1000 miles. The previous owner had it for 18 years and put 18k miles on it (I have his 18 yrs of receipts and record of a few previous owners. When he moved from California and registered the car in MA the title was produced showing 130K miles. He stated to me that it was a registry mistake and never got it fixed so I registered the car with 130k miles. The car does not rattle or squeek but the suspension does need to be rebuilt, simple and cheap. It does sliip out of second gear, simple and cheap. radio does not work, gas guage does not work. Doors close as new, some weatherstrip needs attention. paint is 10 footer but can wait. Glass is all original and very nice, slight delam (about 1/8 inch tall inch or so long) on windshield near drivers cowl. The picture showing the crazing in the paint is the front area ahead of the hood, between the headlights. On May-18-11 at 07:13:23 PDT, seller added the following information: sorry in advance if you see what largely looks like a duplication of what may be above. Ebay doesn't use their product enough to know what I'm talking about. . .
