Selling my 1973 mercury Cougar. It is a standard, not the XR7. It has the 351 Cleveland and automatic, power steering and brakes and a rare factory rear window defroster. It has the full vinyl top option. This is a really nice driving car with new tires and rims. It has a recently replaced heater core and water pump,thermostat and new hoses. The rear axle has new seals and bearings. The engine runs well and the transmission shifts smoothly. It also has new universal joints. I am not going to misrepresent it as being perfect. It does need a few things to be a show car. It currently has no radio. It could stand a new paint job (it has some chips and touchup areas) and the vinyl top does have some bubbles but I have found no soft spots. I also had an upholstery shop look at it and they thought it would be fairly inexpensive to repair and replace the vinyl top. The driver seat has one small wear area on the side. This is a great opportunity to own a nice driving inexpensive classic that can be enjoyed as is or brought up to the next level. When I bought the car I was told by the second owner that it is still under 100K but I have no verification. I have the title in hand. It is sold as-is where-is with no warranty.
