The Chevy Suburban It is the longest-lived continuous automobile nameplate still in production, dating from 1935. If it wasnt for the war effort they might have been discontinued. Whens the last time you saw one of these at a car show or on the street, let alone with these orignal options? Originally most of these came with a straight 6, with no p/s or power brakes. There was low production in whole and not many survived because they were used for work, farming etc. These were originally put on a short bed truck frame, this is not a long bed delivery. This is a rare 1966 Suburban, with a 327 block, the largest option for the time. The 327 was used in Corvettes, some Camaros and the SS. It has a 350 transmission. HEI distributor, no points. It has a 12V alternator, not 6V. Everything on the dash works, even the lighter. The a/c dosent work. The odometer reads 70,200. The front end is tight, there are no rattles or sweaks.
