If your looking for a vehicle that you can work on yourself - no computer sensors and multiple things to go wrong - this is an area you do not have to deal with. The new motor I had put in is very straight forward and is Extremely Easy to work on if a problem arises in the future. This engine runs well and strong. This van was originally purchased for Recreation and Work. I first fully insulated the back of the van then I spent two months customizing the back of it to meet my needs. I wanted this van to look really nice in the back. So if I wanted to go camping one weekend or take a group of friends for a day trip it met all my needs. the inside has built-in cabinets with compartments with multiple storage areas, that can be used for pleasure or work related items. So basically this van is set-up for work and pleasure. The inside is Fully Carpeted with Karastan carpet. It took 5 people to install the ceiling in one full piece. When the van had 142,000 miles on the original motor the bearings went out on the motor-this is the result of this van came with a Mustang motor from the factory and the factory intake ports did not line up resulting in water in the crank case. I found a 302 with 61,000 miles on it. I also added a C-6 transmission and at that time new headers with Dual Exhaust was installed. Several years later I had an Aluminumized Custom Made Dual Exhaust System made from scratch installed with converters. It has never fail emmissions. All seams were welded except mufflers and this system sounds great!! and is in great condition. The van has currently 209,000 miles. I didn't like how low the van sat so I had 3/4 Ton Heavy Duty Springs put in front and several leafs custom bent added to back of van. Rancheo Shocks that are 3 inched longer than stock were installed but the van rides amazingly well. The turning radius is incredible. The van has practically Brand New Kelley Springfield Safari Tires on it. A Brand New Accel Coil and New Spark Plug Wires were just installed. It also has Bosch Platinum Spark Plugs that are not that old. A new air cleaner was just installed. This vehicle offers so much but does need some work. So remember this is a Project Vehicle. It runs very well, the A/C works good, but there is a problem with the brakes a pin hole in a brake line-the pedal goes to the floor but with resistance. The body does need attention. We are really hoping to give my van a good home. This is an As Is sale. You buy it - its yours. No Exceptions. Please think before you buy. So please realize this is not a truck that you will put the key in the ignition and drive it off. The engine runs well but at the same time we want to point out there is a problem with the brakes.
