Print this listing 1937 Packard Super 8 LimousineVehicle Overview1937 marked the first major update to the new senior cars. Most important was the addition of independent front suspension – a modern system utilizing wishbones and coil springs. This resulted in resulted in lighter steering, a more supple ride, and better road holding. The second major change was the adoption of hydraulic brakes, a more reliable system that proved much easier to maintain in peak operating condition. This is a four owner car. Sold new by Roger Dorr Packard in Walnut Creek California. Original owner was the Secretary of Sate at the time who kept the car in California. Original interior. 60k miles showing. Records showing the car with 54k miles in 1964. Miles beieived to be original.
