1979 Triumph Bonneville

Up for bid is this 1979 Bonneville Special. I have owned this bike since 1995 and I believe I'm the third owner .The bike is in about 85% original condition with matching numbers. This bike has only done approximately 1000 miles during my ownership. It has been in storage for the last 7 years THEREFORE THIS BIKE IS NOT RUNNING. It also comes with the original tail pipe, which is very rare and in mint condition ( NOT ON THE BIKE). Overall condition is very good, although various new parts have been fitted, all with receipts, it is still in need of further repairs to be in fully functional and restored condition. Repairs needed include: Battery Brakes Carbs cleaning Indicator Light Tail light Primary side cover (small dint) One small part of sub frame needs welding I bought this bike 15 years ago to fully restore, but never found the time, now I am relocating and I believe this is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for restoring classic bikes. REMEMBER THIS BIKE WAS ONLY MANUFACTURED FOR ONE YEAR, A LIMITED EDITION COLLECTOR'S ITEM!!!
