Vehicle Detail
OK, I am looking at the title, my purchase date was 10-24-2006, title reads: PRIOR SALVAGE MOTOR VEHICLE, i believe that's what you call a salvage title... HOWEVER in this case the vehicle has already been state inspected prior to 2006 and is TITLED with road driving rights. Hope that clarifies things.... thank you. However i do not guarantee vehicle passing the normal relicensing inspection in Missouri or any other state that requires it because the windshield is cracked in the line of sight.... Long Aerostar body with the big engine and stretch body ***RUNS*** and moves on its own power, was parked because license expired and has lots of issues then bought another car. See pictures of all four tires, rubber over 50%, good rubber... This van is the 9 passenger model with two bench seats that are the fold down kind, not fixed... so they also lay down as in picture for camping or hauling plywood or whatever. This van still has a lot of good in it needing to get squeezed out. Comes with an extra large after market transmission cooler installed by me. I’ve been driving Aerostars since 1987 and they have been great, so long as you knew to put the extra transmission cooler on them just before the oil goes back into the trans, and presto, you cured the major weakness in the Aerostar, the trans. overheating and failing... I put over 259k on one Aerostar (NOT THIS ONE) (this one has over 100,000 miles but under 200,000 miles I think it’s AROUND 185 THOUSAND by memory, BUT UNDER 200,000 the one with 259 was sold years ago and a year later the lady that bought it was still driving it and come to thank me. I quit driving that one because of several issues like this one has. I just don't have the time to mess with it. It also had cosmic problems like this one. This one needs some TLC, the back door hydraulics openers are out, and the back door inside covering is coming off as shown in the picture of the back door open. Back bumper (plastic) is broken as in same pic. Oh, comes with good spare tire. The homemade trailer hitch was badly welded to frame by my teenage son and a Lincoln stick welder without prepping the frame so it is now falling off. NO, we did not do extensive pulling, nothing big. And only to town once or twice. Body has dings, bents, and scratches, and cancer on the rocker panels. Windshield is cracked, so I do NOT guarantee an inspection. I’m selling as parts, with a salvage title so you can drive it and get title if you want to drive it, but it’s worth a lot in parts, engine, trans, seats, tires, etc… Oh yes the sliding door latch needs replaced, it does not latch. But does slide OK… the bench seats are in about the same good condition per front seat sample pics, oh yes the sliding door was once opened up to repair latch before. Glass is all good except the windshield is cracked. Needs battery. Heat/A/C not currently working. LOTS OF SMALL ISSUES IS WHY IT WAS PARKED it, SO THERE IS NO GUARANTEE, YOU BUY “AS IS” WHERE IS. With that understanding bid GOOD LUCK Full Payment required within 24 hours of auction end. Phone 573-569-0141 for pick up. NO RETURNS NO REFUNDS, failure or refusal on buyers part to pick up is not grounds for refund.
