I have for sale a 1983 JEEP CJ7. This is a "DAILY DRIVER". The Jeep is a 6cyl. W/4speed trans. The 4wheel drive works fine and the jeep runs and drives very well. All the brakes work fine. It also hase a DANA 300 transfer case. This jeep has normal rust issues for a jeep of this age. The frame is in great condition as you can see in the picks. I have a soft top and soft doors for it that will go with it. I built this jeep for my wife and she had a knee operation 2 years ago and cant drive it so I bought a cj with an automatic trans. The jeep has been parked ever since and it is time for someone else to enjoy it before it sits to long. I just installed a new battery and solenoid and it started right up and I drove around, it ran fine. On May-18-11 at 06:14:28 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had alot of questions about the jeep and will try to answer them for everyone as best I can. The fuel guage doesn't work. The float in the tank is bad but I have the parts to fix it and will include them in the sale. Also the 4wheel drive indicater light doen't work, It did work before it was parked a couple of years ago so im not sure why it quit. I don't have the time to fix it. Also, I will not reveal the reserve price. This jeep was driven at least 75 miles every day for about 2 years until my wife had her surgery and never gave us any problems. On May-19-11 at 10:26:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Just wanted to add that the transmission and dana 300 transfer case in this jeep only have about 25k Original miles on them from a jeep that I bought with low miles for parts while building another jeep. You can tell this when you drive it and shift it. I also replaced the original windshield frame and glass with one that has no rust and good glass(no cracks or chips). I started it again today and drove it around for about a half hour. Started right up .Ran and drove great.
