BARN FIND!! Up for bid is a 1962 Willys pickup. This truck has numerous negative issues and I will try to list some. The engine is a 226 and the last time it ran it had rod noise. The front fenders would take work and someone with welding expertise. The glass has all been shot out and and there are a couple of bullet holes in the cab where they missed the glass.It has no brakes. The driver side has a couple of rust holes in the floor and door. It has 3 flat tires. The wheels you see mounted on the rear do not go with the truck. The gas tank is missing. This truck has several positive issues as well. The bed and tailgate is one of the better ones I have seen. It does have rust issues where the slats fit in the bed, especially in the front and rear. This has been an issue with most beds I have seen. It is also rusted where the tailgate bolts in. The floor of the bed appears to solid. The transmission and transfer case are loose and easy to shift. The engine seems to be complete. Should the new owner desire to restore and drive it, I could possibly come up with a title. The dash and everything behind it appears to be in good shape and complete. The door panes and hardware are in intact and in good shape. The original kick apnes are still in place.
