THERE WERE ONLY 1,949 LT1 BUILT IN TOTAL FOR 1971 AND THAT WAS FOR BOTH COUPES AND COVERTIBLES. IT IS FINSIHED IN IT'S ORIGINAL ULTRA DESIRABLE COLOR OF BRIDGEHAMPTON BLUE AND COMPLIMENTED WITH A BLACK INTERIOR AND A BLACK CONVERTIBLE TOP. IT ALSO HAS A HARD TOP AS WELL. THIS IS A CALIFORNIA BLUE PLATE CAR AND STILL HAS THE CALIFORNIA TITLE WHICH MEANS IT HAS SPENT IT'S ENTIRE LIFE IN SUNNY RUST FREE CALIFORNIA. IT HAS 109,000 ACTUAL MILES AND APPEARS TO HAVE ONLY 1 REPAINT AT SOME POINT IN IT'S PAST. TO START WITH IT HAS THE ORIGINAL #'S MATCHING MOTOR, TRANSMISSION AND REAR END. THE TRANSMISSION IS A MUNCIE M20 AND BUILT ON APRIL 19TH, 1971. THE REAR END IS A 3:55 POSI AND BUILT ON APRIL 1ST, 1971. THE PAINT AND BODY ON THIS VETT ARE IN VERY NICE SHAPE AND SHOW WELL AND THERE ARE A HANDFULL OF SOME MINOR BLEMS IN THE PAINT FROM AGE BUT WOULD PROUDLY STAND NEXT TO THIS CORVETTE AT ANY MAJOR CORVETTE SHOW AND BE PROUD OF IT. THE INTERIOR HAS RECENTLY HAD SOME WORK DONE INCLUDING NEW CARPETING, NEW SEAT COVERS, NEW DOOR PANELS, NEW DASH PAD AND IT ALSO HAS A BRAND NEW CONVERTIBLE TOP. ALL THE GUAGES WORK EXCEPT FOR THE CLOCK AND THE FUEL GAUGE. THE ONLY NON-ORIGINAL PART APPEARS TO BE THE RADIO. THE MOTOR WAS JUST GONE THROUGH RIGHT BEFORE WE PURCHASED IT AND WE HAVE THE RECEIPTS DOCUMENTING THE WORK. IT FIRES RIGHT UP AND RUNS GREAT. IT STILL HAS IT'S CORRECT ORIGINAL IGNITION SHIELDING, LT1 INTAKE MANIFOLD AND HAS THE ORIGINAL LT1 SPECIFIC EXHAUST MANIFOLDS . THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ON THE CAR IS IN GOOD SHAPE, THE HEADLIGHTS GO UP AND DOWN AND EVEN THE WIPERS AND WIPER DOOR WORK!!!
