94 DODGE SHADOW -2 dr , auto, 4 cyl, hatch , – This was my mother’s car that she used until she passed away in December. It has less than 40,000 actual miles, was garage kept and never driven in the winter. The major issue with this car is when you shift into neutral and then immediately into reverse, it makes a sharp jolt. If you wait a few seconds and then shift, it’s fine. Not as bad after driven for a while. She’s driven it this way for several years. Transmission fluid looks good. May be simple as a filter. I have driven it many times and it runs strong. She hit a deer about 6 years ago and the paint is not an exact match. There’s a scratch in the bumper and a few scuffs in the paint. This car looks very good for the year and no rust at all…even the tail pipe still has some shine. I’ve included a photo of the strut bolts. they’re like new. Tires are fair. AC must have a leak as it does not blow cold. Brakes seem fine but I did not pull the wheels off. Inspection expired 4/11. All manual controls inside. Plain AM/FM. New battery. This is a SOLID car, not like todays tin cans. Perfect for that new graduate. Bid on it before I change my mind and decide to keep it.
