1974 t-4 fuel inj.1.7,all completely original unmolested driver as it is,perfect for an easy restore,was sold to the last owner before i got the car in the 80s,i always saw the car in different parking lots and roads around durango colorado 4the11yrs.I have lived here&admired how cool it looked&how good cond.it was esp.4its age,got the car thru the estate being settled.i have a van,bug&many other projects,have been laid off from my job so altho i dont want to sell her, my financial situation dictates.new tires,all repair&maintenance reciepts go back to the80s forward,a shop ripped off the poor lady who owned the car charging her1188$for fuel pump rebuild,engine&trans fluid change!(this was just a year ago)in the end of 82 carter motors(vw dealership in seattle)replaced all 4 cyl,pistons&rings,rebuilt the valves&guides(only charging a whopping971$!)quite a contrast in shop honesty!this was done when the car had65627mi on it.today the car runs very good,it is the smoothest,smoke free running vw i have ever owned,trans shifts flawless in and out of all gears w no hesitation slippage or any issues whatsoever(have driven many other auto trans cars&trucks that work normal&do not feel as good as this one!)paper paint tag is still in place under hood,owner manual filled out by dealer when car was new is in the glove box&matches the car documents the first owner.pictures show the minor issues the car has:couple of really small tears in the head-liner,driver seat etc.the rust is very minimal@front right fender corner&rear fender,inside back hatch in upper corner&super light surface rust next to the spare(see pics)was suggested to clean these spots up by a friend before taking pics,but was compelled to leave it alone&show this in the pics so they can be addressed correctly by its new owner,here in so.-colo.anything w a little rust doesnt get worse as years go by due to very low humidity,this is a honest listing of the car,undercarriage is beautiful as are areas under the battery doors jams etc.pics do speak for themselves(didnt even wash car for pics!)cassette player doesnt work,but I removed the face-plate&verified that the radio-hole in the dash is nice&original!ebersbacher gas auxillary heater does not fire up,it is complete&looks good(im pretty handy but not ready to experiment,ive heard of people messing with these heaters & flaming up their car!)I am listing this car low(in hopes she finds the right new owner who can appreciate this amazing car)I can deliver the car within reasonable distance&fee(have truck&trailer)after car payment arrangements have been met,reserve the right to end sale as the car is up for sale locally.car can be driven anywhere any distance now.new tires,battery.Good luck bidders!Rust&dings are minor&visible,front rh fender has only small dent;C video on you tube:412vw056.mp4 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MINE IF YOU CANT PAY....IF YOU CANT PAY>>>DONT BID,THIS ITEM IS BEING RELISTED BECAUSE OF THIS.I hate to have a bogus buyer create problems for all you honest bidders,good-luck. ask questions,contact me,or i will consider that you are not serious.
