Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1961 Ford Falcon. I purchased the car from a family friend who rebuilt it from the ground up. It is a rust free Arizona car with no previous body damage or accidents. Ford originally built these as economy cars, but this one has received the hot rod treatment. All body panels, sheet metal, and bumpers are original. It is very well built and is driven often (not a trailer queen). It runs excellent and sounds amazing. Dual Flowmaster exhaust gives it that deep exhaust note. The 289 V8 is bored .30 over and has a lot of power. This engine in this small lightweight car really makes it scoot. It gets lots of attention and turns heads...you'll know when it's coming down the road. I have had alot of fun with the car. I've had it in a few shows just for fun, and it always draws a good crowd. The first Falcons were basically Ford's version of the early Novas and Chevy II's. As you can see from the pictures, it is well maintained inside and out. I've included some pics of it before the red paint so you can see that the body was straight even before. I really can't say enough about this car. It's gorgeous, clean, straight, and fun. It has never given me any problems. It's built just right and not overdone. If you are looking for something that is a bit rare, unique, and not a dime a dozen, then this might be the car for you. I have the original owner's manual and tons of receipts for parts and work done to the car. Guaranteed, there won't be another one pull up next to you at the stoplight. If so, you can give them a run for their money! If not for my medical bills, I wouldn't be selling it. I have a clean title in hand. If you have any questions about the car, please ask. It's a really nice car, but it is still 50 years old. Winning bidder is responsible for shipping arrangements/costs. The reserve price is set very reasonably, so don't hesitate to jump in there and start bidding.
