Vehicle Detail

Highlights!!!! of the Van are: Ice-Cold A/C, Great Heater, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Long-Wheelbase, 1-Ton, 5.7L Small-Block Chevy, Heavy-Duty 4-Speed Automatic w/Overdrive, 3.73 Rear-End Ratio, Custom Wood Shelves and Floor, Trailer Wiring. I am the second owner and have every receipt since I purchased it in January 2007. I bought the van primarily to transport my 125cc Shifter Kart to the race track and back each weekend. I’ve also used it for runs to Home Depot, helping friends move, etc. I didn’t need the 3500 one-ton rating so much as the 155” wheelbase – regardless of it being a go-kart or a couch, the amount of stuff one can fit inside a long-wheelbase van is absolutely astounding. The original owner that I bought it from was an electrician who lived out in the mid-west. Its life with me has been approx. 95% highway miles. It has been perfectly reliable – it’s without a doubt the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I worked as a professional mechanic for an exotic car dealership, so I have handled most of the maintenance. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles, the transmission has been serviced regularly, coolant flushed, brakes bled, etc. I’m probably a bit over meticulous in regards to maintenance, so over the past four years I have done the following: New Tires at all four corners, New Front Brake Rotors and Pads, New Fuel Filter, New Wiper Blades, New Water Pump Gaskets, New Spark Plugs, New Ignition Wires, New Distributor Cap and Rotor, New PCV Valve. I installed a 3/4” pressure-treated plywood floor with a 1/8” rubber underlining. It has made it actually pretty quiet out on the highway (for a cargo van). I also built a set of shelves that are sized for milk crates, and a tire rack. Both are modular and can easily be removed if so desired. There are a few rust spots developing on the driver’s side rocker panel, as well as the passenger’s side rocker panel and side cargo door. There are a few small scratches here and there, as well as a dent in the front left fender (all from the previous owner). The seats are in great shape overall, but the driver’s side does show minor wear. The side windows have some slight vertical scoring on them – I think something inside the door scratched them at some point. The fuel gauge flutters ever so slightly. The paint on the front grill is speckled from normal road wear. This is an opportunity to buy a exceptionally versatile van that has been well-cared by a private owner!!! I have enjoyed it for the past 4 years, and it will certainly be as dependable for its next owner as it has been for me. I'm selling it because I wont be karting as much due to work and family commitments. Buyer Responsible for shipping (north-eastern NJ). Clear Title in Hand.
