Vehicle Detail

I have a 1972 Suzuki GT750. If you're looking at it you probably already know what it is. The bike is a 3-cylinder, 2-stroke, liquid cooled bike. The bike is complete but it needs a restoration for it to be any time of a show bike. I bought it about a month ago, the bike was sitting outside under a tarp for the last 10 years or so. Most of the nuts and bolts have rust on them but the motor and frame are still in pretty good shape. There's some surface rust in spots but it isn't anything that can't be fixed with some sand blasting or some cleaning. I'll try to list everything that I know about the bike, I'm sure I'll miss some things here and there. The bike is a 1972 but it appears to be more of a mix and match bike. It has dual disk braks on the front, which is not original to the 1972 model. The front brake master cylinder will need to be rebuilt, it does not currently work. The radiator cover is also not from the 1972 model. I have both of the side covers and badges but one of the badges does not say "water cooled" which the 1972 model is supposed to. The gas tank has some rust in it and will need to be cleaned out. The bike has a brand new battery in it, less than a couple of weeks old. Previously I could get the bike to run only with the choke on, with the choke off it would not run. I took the carburetors off and cleaned them all very well. Now with the carbs back on I think there is a slide that is stuck, I can get the bike to start with starter fluid but it is stuck at wide open throttle. I obviously don't run it for more than a couple seconds because I don't want to damage anything. The bike is kick start only right now. All the wiring is there for the starter and the starter clicks but it doesn't work. I'm not a mechanic but I think with some minor adjustments to the carbs, it will run right. Even with it running I think the gaskets on the motor will need to be replaced, while running it has a slow leak of coolant in the front of the motor. I have a clean and clear title for the bike. I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH SHIPPING THE BIKE SO IT IS OFFERED FOR LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. I will require a $200 deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction and the remainder of the money when the bike is picked up. Use the "Ask the seller a question" button with any questions that you may have.On May-07-11 at 14:28:18 PDT, seller added the following information: CORRECTION, THE BIKE DOES RUN NOW!! When I had the carbs off to clean, I put the slides back in wrong which was causing it to run at wide open throttle. I put the slides back in the way thery're supposed to be and I can get the bike to run now. The carbs will still need to be adjusted, the idle seems to be a bit high right now, but the bike will run and idle at about 3000 RPM. Check out the videos below of the bike being started and running. There are too many scammers, they always seem to have zero feedback too and then mysteriously their account is gone when they don't pay.
