Vehicle Detail

I hate to see this car go, but due to a recent strike at work I have to let her go. I bought the car in Oct of 08. It had 95,000 miles on it. It now has 145,000. I performed oil changes every 3,500 miles with mobil 1 synthetic, save for the few new parts drove without issue. The new parts are all within the last 5000 miles. Here are the details: Good: Runs Great, Shift perfect, drives nice Steering is tight Clutch was new when I bought the car All electronics work (lights/ windows/ sunroof/ locks/seat heaters) 18" konig rims (only have 2 rims o at the moment, never took the front snow tires off) New waterpump New coil/ plugs/wires New cam sensor/ rear 02 sensor Borla cat back exhaust 3" lowering kit Strut braces Amazing stereo No rust The bad: Needs rotors and pads asap Cracked windshield glass Center console lid falls off Mirror adjust knob & roll up window switch are broke. The window roll up works, its just missing the lever making it a pain to use. Driver side mirror glass is gone Interior has rips and stains. Its not terrible for being a work car but it certainly isnt mint. The drivers seat is torn and the carpets are worn. There is also 1 cigarette burn in the headliner, and a few small tears. These are by far the worst of whats wrong with the interior. Misc small dings/ scratches Washer fluid leaks, needs oring on tank Needs wipers Tires only have about a summer left on them Overall the car is a good runner that could be very nice with a little bit of work. All the parts needed are under $500 and could be done in a day. I really don't want to sell the car but my union went on strike. Being a homeowner I have to pay the bills somehow... My loss is your gain. The subs are not included in auction. The car is being sold as is. Id advise anyone whos bidding to come look at it first. Its amazing how many people wont look at what they're buying. If you win, its yours- please know what your bidding on. I list everything as accurately as I can but Im not a mechanic. On May-03-11 at 13:01:51 PDT, seller added the following information: 5/03/20211 Someone came for a test drive today, after it was parked I started it up to pull it back into my driveway and it had a slight sputter. I just got back from my friend shop (hes a vw tech) hes telling me its a bad plug or wire (go figure) causing the hesitation. I dont have the money to replace them at the moment so unfortunately this is how the car will stay till time of sale. In the drive over it starting throwing 2 codes. He said this was because the car was running rich (no/ weak spark = a hesitation and unburnt fuel) It still starts right up/ runs/ drives, just has a sputter.
