I have for sale a 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible. I have owned the car for almost 6 years and bought the car in its current state of restoration. On a scale of 1-10, I would give the car a 7.5-8.0. If you are looking for a show car already restored to the point that you could eat off of the differential cover, then this is not the car for you. However, if you are looking to own a vintage muscle car that can be driven and get all the looks that it gets (there's not a time that I have taken the car out for a drive that someone hasn't made a comment on it) or you want a car that you could take to that next level of restoration and have fun with at the same time, then you've come to the right place. Without further adieu I will give you a list of its features and then follow up a list of its flaws (I have to be honest). FEATURES: 455 Big Block Engine 3 spd Automatic Transmission Edelbrock Intake Manifold and 4 bbl carbeurator Griffin Aluminum Radiator Hedman Headers with Flowmaster Dual Exhaust MSD Ignition High Temp Spark Plug Wires Dual Electric Fans Factory A/C Power Windows Power Antenna on Right Rear Quarter Panel Power Steering Power Convertible Top Hood Tachometer Rally Wheels with almost new Remington XT 120 HR 400 225/60/R15 Tires Walnut Steering Wheel w/extra coats of spar urethane for a more 'finished' look Kenwood Excelon Chameleon Head Unit (the faceplate automatically reverses to a blank plate when the car is turned off) Flaws: The hood has some paint bubbles and some scratches and probably should just be repainted The windshield has a crack in the bottom right corner There is some paint repair needed to the right rear fender The Factory A/C is not currently working. The power top motor needs to be replaced (However, I do have the replacement motor, ordered from Classic Industries, which is included in this auction) The power windows will go up but just like most old cars need some assistance (I do have new power window regulators, ordered from Classic Industries, that are included in this auction) Also included in this auction are all the parts that I have purchased for it that include some new chrome window trim pieces, a myriad of parts to take it from a dual fuel line to a single fuel line, the boot for the convertible top (which is in excellent condition), a front air dam spoiler (unpainted), the original steering wheel and parts (if you want them) On May-03-11 at 19:59:15 PDT, seller added the following information: One other thing to note.....this car originally had a 400 engine in it which is good for it to retain its value.
