Up for auction is a really beautiful metallic black 2005 Porche 911 997C2 Cabriolet, with tan leather seats, and lots of cool options. This is a one-owner car, which has been meticulously maintained by the Porsche dealer, and is in excellent condition. It is available with no reserve, and is priced well below blue book. It is equipped with an electronic soft top that opens or closes in just 20 seconds and can be deployed or retracted with the car moving at up to 30 mph (50 km/h). To protect its heated glass window, the top retracts in a Z configuration with its outer side facing up. To protect occupants from the rain, the top’s new sills above the doors guide water into a specially developed door seal duct in the A-pillar. The car also features Porsche's Stability Management, Communication Management and the Sound Package Plus (CD radio with nine speakers), and it has larger wheels and a wind deflector as standard equipment, unike the earlier 911s. The car originally cost $93,775 with the options you can see in the pictures of the original sticker above. I could not get the second page into the space alloted and still have it readable, so I broke it up into three pictures. The car has $2,000 worth of new Pirelli tires on it, the seats are heated, and it has the Bose high end sound system, traction control, and a speed activated rear spoiler, among other amenities. The car has a 6-cylinder, 3.6 liter, 325-horse power, flat-six engine that powers the car from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.2 seconds, and achieves 177 mph (285 km/h). It is equipped with the Porsche Side Impact Protection system comprising head and thorax airbags for both driver and front seat passenger. Also standard are two full-size frontal airbags and three-point seat belt latch tensioners and belt force limiters for the front seats. Rollover safety features include two ultra-strong steel tubes in the A pillars and two supplemental safety bars located behind the rear seats that automatically deploy in the event of a rollover. If you are the winner of the auction, a deposit of $5,000 is expected within 72 hours, and full payment must be made within one week, or the car will be relisted. The car is garaged in Boulder, Colorado, and you are welcome to engage and send over an independent mechanic to check it out. The buyer will make transport arrangements.
