1946 MG TC TC/0814 XPAG 1472 Replacement Engine No. B8198 This vehicle just came out of a 12 month mechanical restoration and has just returned from new painting. All body panels were removed, taken to bare metal and repaired as necessary. Freshly painted in British Racing Green. Everything works. Car was rewired. Side curtain stowage box was repaired. New lid on tool box and battery box. New floor wood was installed. Replaced wood under dash and in various other areas. Dynamo was rebuilt. Voltage was regulator rebuilt. Clock was rebuilt. New fuel low level transmitter installed. New rear brake pads. Replace rear wheel seals. New rubber hood seal installed. New passenger side grab handle. Numerous parts re-chromed. Corrected front toe-in. Vehicle has a stainless steel exhaust. Serviced all fluid levels - oil, shock absorbers, rear differential. Transmission was drained (no metal filings) and re-serviced. Greased all zurk fittings. Engine Leak Down Test - Cylinder #1-10, #2 – 15, #3 – 10, #4 – 12 Compression check – All cylinders at 150 PSI. Engine was timed. Also included are the 4 mounts for side curtains, original inlet manifold and air filter, correct radiator cap. 2 front side curtains, 2 license plates (correct numbers), manuals and the Certificate of Authenticity. Car is being offered locally and I reserve right to end auction early if reserve is not met. A $1000.00 non refundable PayPal deposit is due within 48 hours of this auction ending. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the auction end date and must be paid in cash or by wire from a major U.S. bank....no exceptions.
