1998 H1 ORIGINAL MILITARY VERSION HUMMER FOR SALE $40000.00 US FIRM. I SET UP A WEBSITE WWW.SEATTLEHUMMERFORSALE.COM WITH RECEIPTS SHOWING I PUT OVER 100k IN MAINTENANCE ON THIS TRUCK!!!!!!! Yesterday I took it to the dealer and spent another $1200.00 on new fuel sensors and filters and pumps. Thank you for visiting this site. I did not know of a better way to say goodbye to my girl than to set up a website to sell her. This truck's owner has ADD and that means he fixes everything that is wrong with the truck. I am obsessed with fixing stuff and I had this in the dealer or my Diesel shop all of the time fixing a little squeak, or making this work better, or let's drop another 15K on an engine. THIS truck has 3,404 miles on a BRAND NEW 6.5 TURBO ENGINE. Its the THIRD engine I have had put in this for performance and it's silicon sealed so you can drive up to the snorkel in a river and it will run ALL DAY. YOU WILL NOT FIND A SAFER, OR A BETTER 4 X 4 ON ALL OF EBAY. I KNOW HUMMERS AND I SPENT OVER 100K ON THIS TRUCK. ITS MY BABY, AND I AM ONLY SELLING THIS BECAUSE I OWE THE IRS 40K AND I LOST MY BUSINESS. This truck is PERFECT for anyone that has owned Hummer's before. I say this because this is my 6th truck, and this one is "4 x 4 ready". What does that mean? Well, I will explain. Please grab a cup of coffee and go through the site. It's a good read. WWW.SEATTLEHUMMERFORSALE.COM For those of you that have owned a HUMMER before, you know what happens. Let's be honest. You take it off road, twist it, turn it, and then it falls apart. All of the fancy interior parts, radio, switches, door handles, and heater knobs that were not designed to be on the truck all fall off and break. That is because once the truck is manufactured, they go and put all the fancy civilian things on it. These interiors look awesome, but they BREAK. Anything civilian that was not meant to be on the truck always breaks because the truck was not designed at all for this stuff. Two of my friends purchased and shelled out 145K on new 2006 Alpha's to only run them through a river and have them hydro lock because the air intake was not sealed correctly and water got into the engine (only takes a drop). I know of people who purchased new H1's and had them break down, or fall apart or even worse do it in the middle of nowhere. I knew this going into the purchase of this truck. I specifically was looking for a 1998 convertible because I knew that 1998 was the best year off the assembly line. I finally found one in Florida of all places and I paid 48000.00 for it cash on the barrel. The guy I purchased it from was an old man who let it sit in the garage and drive it on Sunday's. He wanted 52K, and the truck was worth it, but I managed to get it for 48K from his broker. Due to my tour schedule, I let it sit in my heated garage for TWO YEARS. I put about 13000 miles on it.. I then, as you can see, had a mechanic go through and take off all of the switches and bezel's and put silicone gel on them, put a proper backing on them, and then re-install it. Everything has silicone gel, including the door window switches. I knew from experience to do this so that they can stretch and bend and not break and most important be WATER PROOF. I then had Bellevue Best Buy (call them if you want) and they will tell you I put down $5600.00 bucks on a BUMPING sound system. Rockford Fosgate amps. TWO OF THEM. Sub woofers, and a 6 speaker system. I even installed a microphone system and a PIONEER MP3 player so you can plug in your I PHONE and talk hands free. I wanted to tick off my friends, so I went and shelled out $1480.00 on ALPHA mirrors and chrome emblems! I then shelled out 10K on FANCY H1 rims and SUPER SWAMPERS. So now it looks exactly like an ALPHA! I also, and this is not on receipts, shelled out 18K on a new paint job. Look at the shine. I then as you can see, maintained this truck and spent over 100K on this in 2 years. In 2 years I spent that much. You will NOT find a better HUMMER for sale on E bay than this one right here! I went through this truck in detail fixing all of the civilian problems that have plagued these trucks over the years. The only thing you can't fix is the glove box. If you go over ONE log, it will break the "key holder" that goes into the glove box. I just leave it out now, but I have it if you want to put it in when your not 4 X 4. I am looking for a serious buyer, who wants a GOOD hummer that he wont have to FIX. You can call Bear Alignment and Diesel in Snohomish Washington and talk to Lynn or Steve and they will tell you this truck was maintained and in the shop whenever there was a small problem. The ONLY reason I am selling is that I lost my company and I owe some money. WHAT IS NOT ON THE PICTURES AND INCLUDED IN THE SALE IS THE MIDDLE SEAT THAT SITS 2 ADDITIONAL PASSENGERS. I paid $2K for the whole bucket seat system. Its black and fits perfectly. Please come and inspect the vehicle. I sold a Jeep once and the guy smashed the door and claimed it was there already and it took me months to get my money so I am having any buyers sign a contract that it was inspected. Happy bidding.
