Just updated our van and ready to let go of one of the better cars we have ever owned. Here's the story: History: Purchased from original owner with 105k miles. Driven by me personally for almost 150k miles. Van has never been in an accident to my knowledge. Wouldn't hesitate to drive this on family trip tomorrow. The positives: Rides like a dream. No pull or shimmy. Newer tires, battery, alternator, starter, headliner. Interior is in excellent overall shape. Items like power mirrors, windows, radio, air conditioner, cruise work well. The negatives: 1) Biggest item is transmission leak and intermittent "shudder" from 1st to 2nd gear. Started a few years ago and has never turned into a major issue for me. Transmission was replaced by Aamco at 160k. 2) Oil leak in front main for last few years. More of a driveway nuisance than something I wanted to put money into. 3) Keyless entry works except the driver's door often needs the key manually inserted 4) Had it painted a few years back and while for the age it still looks pretty good there are some areas of flaking and some rust evident along the top of front windshield 5) Rear hatch has minor leak if rain blows hard (likely the third break light seal) 6) Could use a tuneup 7) Front headlamps could use replacing as the lenses are foggy
