Vehicle Detail
Hi! If you found this car, then you found what you're looking for. ONLY $1399!!! It's a 1992 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser Stationwagon. For being unrestored and not doctored up in any way, in other words, as original as original gets, then you found a sweetheart of a car. The body is in great shape as well as the interior and engine compartment for a 1992. There's a door ding here or there, but literally I couldn't find any rust on the outside body panels, on or in the doors, or on the trunk. I didn't find rust anywhere. Just in case you do find some, I'll say it's 95% rust free. The interior shows wear on the seats and a few light stains from 20 years of use, but overall good shape. Headliner is good. Sunroof is COOL. Radio and tape player work well. Heater works great. A/C engages and I assume works (too cold to tell). Drives down the road and stays nice and straight. No weird sounds, smells, leaks, etc. Doesn't smoke. Runs very good. 305 engine. I believe tranny and engine are both original. It's my nephews car who bought it from a guy in town that maintained it very well and drove it back and forth to work. He bought a much newer Lesabre. In my opinion, this is three times the car. Has dual power seats, and the THIRD REAR FACING SEAT. If this doesn't bring back memories from the 70's, nothing will! I remember going to the lake with the parents eating homemade sandwiches drinking generic pop, thinking nothing of the tons of cigarrettes being smoked. By they way, this has been smoked in a long time ago, but smells good (no smoke smell) and I didn't see any burn marks either. He has gotten over 20mpg HWY. These are rated higher than this (currently at 23mpg) so I suppose you could do better. Tires are all matching and over 75% tread. The only issues with car are a cracked windshield (quotes will be around $180 installed) and the cruise does not work and we have not even looked into it. Could be something as easy as a fuse. The windshield didn't affect my ability to see, so if you're not into fixing them when they're cracked then don't sweat it. Once again, this is a car that I think you could drive anywhere. It's a very nice 1992 car. If I knew of any other issues I would mention it. Overall it is exceptional for a 1992 but not perfect, because it is not restored. Do not expect perfection!! I have sold vehicles on EBAY for myself or others (including Nissan, VW, and several other car and pickup diesels) and have made every transaction a great one, so bid often, and bid with confidence!! Every person comments to me how I overdescribe, underpromise, and overdeliver, and this is my goal (see feedback!)!!! The car is sold AS IS with no warranty. NO WARRANTY means exactly what it means. I welcome and invite anyone to check it out before you bid. In buying the car you understand that there is no recourse for any problems or repairs you might incur and you hold the seller harmless for any shortcoming you experience in buying or owning the car. I described this to the best of my ability and if I thought or knew of anything it needed, I would mention it! For shipping, you should check on www.auto-car-transport.com and they will get you about 7 different rates from good carriers. You will probably see the quote come back at about $700 or so. I have shipped about 5 vehicles both out and in and have had 100% good experience with it. I will work with your shipper if needed. Clear Nebraska title (it's my nephews car), and ready to pick up when you pay in full. $750 non refundable deposit due within 2 business days of auction close (paypal OK), and full amount due within 5 business days of auction close. If you do use paypal, then add 2.9% to the price which you use paypal, otherwise you can send a cashiers check or bring cash. Delivery and pickup is buyers responsibility, but I will assist in any way possible. Ponca is within 30 minutes of Sioux City Iowa. We are very close driving distance to Minneapolis, Des Moines, Omaha, Kansas City, Sioux Falls, and even Denver/Chicago. Again, TRUST THE FEEDBACK and trust this 1992 classic! It is a super good find. Will sell to the BEST OFFER!! Good luck!! My phone number is 712.333.5897. Please call or email if you have any questions. Mark
