This is a very nice, powerful and smooth running motorcycle. This bike has no problems and is ready to ride anywhere. Always been garaged. The bodywork was repainted two years ago in the original color. The bike has custom bar risers that move the bars up and back. It would be easy to return the bars to their original position. The windshield is an after-market taller unit. The original will be included. The plastic cover for the passenger portion of the seat is included as well as the passenger pegs. The bike has heated grips. I have the BMW service manual and owner's manual. All the original tool kit, located under the seat, is there. The tail bag will be included. This bike has the ABS option. I added a reset button that interrupts the power to the electronic controller. This ABS system continuously monitors battery voltage once the key is on. If the battery is not real healthy, the system will set a fault while cranking the engine, but you can push the reset button after the enginer starts. The good thing about this iteration of BMW ABS is the brakes work normally if the ABS is not working. The bike has a 3-year old gel cell battery. These batteries are maintenance free, but do not have the output of a wet battery. After reading the horror stories on the BMW owners web site, I decided to check the clutch shaft splines. Good news: there was no discernible wear of the splines. The fuel injection works perfectly and returns over 50 MPG in normal riding. The bike will be available during the auction for local inspection in Colorado Springs. If you buy the bike and it is not what you were expecting, you may have your money back, less my eBay fees. I am selling this bike because it is too sporty for a 70-year old.
