1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z Original Condition Exterior Condition The exterior of the car is in good condition considering that the car is 25 years old. Obviously, you will find a ding here or there. There is a small ding on the front passenger's side fender. Nothing major. There are also a few rock chips on the hood. The body condition is perfect. There is no rust or structural damage. The underneath of the car looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. One small exterior issue, is the driver's side door is sagging a little bit so I would recommend replacing the door hinge pins. I would also replace the window rubber weather strip as it has cracks in it. The passenger side is in better condition. The front tires on this car have about 80% life left and the rear about 50%. The wheels are original.Interior Condition Very clean interior; I would give it a 7.5 out of a 10. The reason for this is because the car is 25 years old so it won't be perfect. The dashboard is straight without any cracks and it has the carpet cover on it. The door windows work properly, power locks work; everything is in working condition. The only thing I would fix in the interior is the lining around the sunroof. Also, the driver's side seat has a tear on the side. As you see in the pictures, the back seats are taken out. Everything is included with the car; I took it out last fall when I was painting the floors. Since I wanted to drive it during the winter, I didn't want it to rust so I painted it with rust resistant paint and when it got cold, I didn't put the seats back in. The seats are in perfect condition. Mechanical Condition The engine runs smoothly; doesn't have any knocks or weird noises. Does not leak or burn oil at all. After the oil change, I almost did 3,000 miles and the oil level is still at full. All of the gears go in nicely; no grinding or noises. It's a very nice and comfortable ride. Recent Maintenance I just replaced the air filter with K&N and put fully synthetic Mobil 1 oil. The car has new trans fluid. Further, I replaced the PCV valve and spark plug wires. Additionally, I recently replaced all of the seals around the engine (including main seal, crank seal, & oil pan seal). Furthermore, the car has new brake pads in the front and new brake shoes in the rear. The clutch is not that old either. It probably has around 10,000 miles or less on it. As for the miles, it has 154,000 miles, but as you can see from the hooks in the picture the car was towed behind a vacation home. So a lot of the miles are from towing.
