1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby Exterior Condition The exterior of the car is in good condition considering that the car is 22 years old. Obviously, you will find a ding here or there. There is some fading on the rear wing and rear bumper. And some paint chipping on the front lower ground effect. The biggest issue is that there is rust on the rocker panels on the inside on each side. This needs to be repaired. There have been some repairs done already on the floor panels on both sides and those are okay. The front tires on this car have about 80% life left and the rear about 80% as well. The wheels are original Shelby wheels in good shape.Interior Condition The dashboard is without any cracks or damage. Very clean. The seats are very nice. They are not original but came from a newer Mitsubishi Eclipse without any rips or damage. I have the original seats which I will include. The carpet is clean and I think was at one point replaced. Everything works on the instrument cluster. The power windows work, heat works. I never got a chance to try out the a/c. The 12 button trip computer works. The car has a newer cd player which works great! The only interior issue, as you can see on the pictures, the plastic molding on the driver's side that's on the rocker is missing. Mechanical Condition The engine runs good; smooth on the power. No noises or vibrations. Gears go in smoothly. It has the 520 transmission. The turbo spools nicely. I would recommend for whoever buys it to replace new front struts and rear shocks.
