Vehicle Detail

For sale is this 1988 Ford Crown Victoria LTD. Quick background about this vehicle; my grandmother gave me this car because she cannot drive anymore due to age and eyesight. I already have two good vehicles and just don't need another, nor do I have room for it. That makes me the third owner, but I've only put 900 miles on it driving it down from Illinois. I can say it rides/drives like a dream. It is power everything and it all works perfectly. A/C blows ice cold, heat blows hot. Brakes are excellent, tires are good. Has a AM/FM radio sorry no cassette, CD, or MP3 player..you can install those yourself. Cruise control works effortlessly. My grandparents were the second owners. They kept the vehicle garaged at all times, so the interior and exterior show no signs of fading/drying/cracking from the sun, no hail damage, no tree sap dripping down on it. Pinstriping on hood and along sides of car is flawless. The leather part of the roof is tight and shiny, no loose seams at all. Chrome trim gleams in the sun. There is some surface rust underneath the vehicle from driving on Illinois roads in the winter, but it is minor. My grandpa was diligent about hitting the carwash regularly to wash the salt off. There is a small scratch underneath the driver's door handle and can be seen in the picture. There is a very slight scratch on the passenger rear quarter panel; it is only visible from up close. Please see pictures. The interior is in very good condition. There are no "butt divots", no tears, rips or stains. The dash shines like new, all instrument panels work, all lights work, and there are no check engine lights on when driving. All glass is good, no cracks. The only thing worth noting about the interior that is not in excellent condition is the finish on the window/door lock panels. The finish has yellowed for some reason; I'm not able to explain it. I'm not sure if this is common among Crown Vics of this year or something, and it was hard to capture the yellowing in the pics. It doesn't effect the functionality in any way, just the appearance. There are no leaks of any kind, and the oil still looks brand new after a 900 mile trip. The car passed the Texas emissions and inspection test no problems, and I have photoed the emissions test results to show how clean this car runs. Readings are easily in-line with state standards and show the engine is running efficiently and has had regular maintenance. I would feel confident driving this car anywhere in the U.S. It is a great car and I wish I could keep it. It will give the winning bidder years of hassle free driving of that I am sure. The conditions of this auction are as follows: 1. I need a $200 deposit paypal'd within 48 hours of the end of the auction to show me you are serious about buying the car. I will give second chance offer to next highest bidder if I do not recieve deposit on time. 2. I can't meet anywhere to deliver car to you; winning bidder will have to arrange shipping or come to my house to pick up car. I live in Fort Worth, TX. This car can be driven anywhere in the U.S., it is in great running condition. 3. The winning bidder has 10 days from the end of the auction to pay in-full and pick up vehicle. So the conditions are pretty simple; if your serious about buying on Ebay then they should not be hard to satisfy. I will answer any question you have, just give me a couple hours to get back to you. If you want additional pics, just ask I will post more. Cheers and Good Luck! P.S. Reserve on the car is 3500On Apr-24-11 at 07:48:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Anyone looking at the CARFAX report will see the car had 48k miles in 1996. My grandfather passed away in 1995, and my grandmother didn't drive very much after that..only to church and the grocery store mainly. That is why so few miles were added from 1996 to present. Just wanted to put that out there in case anyone was wondering if the car had 159k instead of 59k. This car only has 59k miles and it shows. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask..
