Vehicle Detail
For Sale is this 1965 Convertible Mustang. I have owned this car since 2004. Let me begin by saying "I am not a car guy". At an auction in Vegas my wife saw this car and said "Honey, I want that!" So I bought it for her and paid $12k for a car that needed to be restored (note to others...Don't go to an auction in Vegas after drinking all night, bad bad idea). Anyway, I immediately took it to someone who knew what they were doing and had the car restored. Since then the wife is gone and now it's time for the car to go too. I put an additional $10k into it, but am under no false belief that my ill advised spending is your responsibility so take advantage of this opportunity and get a MUCH better bargain than I did. The vehicle went through a full restoration and has been garage kept since. The vehicle only gets driven for an annual parade and on occasional Sunday drives. Attached are pictures showing the restoration however, I will list basically what was done. New interior (carpet, seat, chrome parts etc) Rebuilt motor all the way through. Painted block and covers, all new wiring etc. When I bought the car the title said actual miles (50k) so it's never been used much I guess? And the title was from Arizona so it's a desert car. Rebuilt automatic transmission. New white convertible top Correct hubcaps All new chrome (bumpers, door seals, mirrors etc) Brakes, shocks, exhaust. Basically anything the car had. It's a 1965 V6 Mustangs, I could've built one from scratch basically. The car runs great, it has power steering but not power brakes. The top is manual. I have a white boot cover and a black one for whatever look you prefer. I've never sold anything on EBay so call me or send me an email if you have any questions I''m not addressing. I'm setting the reserve at a reasonable level, I'm not looking for Mustang V8 Shelby prices. It's a classy little V6. It's clean, runs good, fun to tool around in and get a lot of attention. If you're looking to own a classic, but don't want to spend a fortune, come get this one and see if you're a classic car kind of person. I am not.
