This auction is for a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible. This GTO is a very nice example of an unmolested car. The car is the factory correct color and the Montreux Blue with the blue convertible top is by far the best color on a '67 GTO, then put a Dark blue interior in it and you have the best of the best the color combo is stunning! The '67 is still considered one of the cleanest-looking GTO’s ever. This car has all the right stuff, YS code 400ci/360hp motor, safe-t-track rear end, power steering, power brakes, 3-speed automatic trans with his-n-her shifter and a factory console, power steering, power top and factory rally I’s wheels on all 4 corners, the car has newer BFG raised white letter tires. The paint is nice a few flaws like a chip here or there nothing takes away from the car, still looks great, this car has had only one repaint and the original paint still on the underside of deck lid and looks great. This is a very nice original car and according to PHS docs, cowl tag and vin # this car was a Fremont California built car, and still retains all of its original sheet metal everywhere. The underside still has some of the factory blue paint under there with a few hours of detailing it would be beautiful. I bought the car from a long time owner of over twenty years and the underside is just wonderful with no signs of rust of any kind I do have a few pics that show what a dry rust free GTO this really is. I believe the miles are actual of only 56,000 and the car shows that to be true also with a lot of signs to make me believe but have no way of documenting it so it will be sold exempt. Only 9517 of these car were built in 1967 and Pontiac now gone what a great investment! The original blue bucket seat interior is very nice and does still have the factory original carpet, still has T-3 headlights, am/fm/cass that works great. Although I have only put a few miles on this car it does run and drive very nice.
