1993 FORD E150 MARK III CONVERSION VAN, NO RESERVE!! UP for auction is a 1993 FORD E150 MARK III CONVERSION VAN. This van is white with a blue cloth interior. This van was not a daily driver, but served as our "vacation" van to travel long distances. We have decided to upgrade to a full size CLASS A motorhome, so there is no use for this van. Power windows, power locks, power brakes, power steering, aluminum RIMS. DUAL A/C system and air is ICE COLD. VAN has 124,125 miles (this will change at end of auction, as there may be one more trip this weekend). VAN starts 1st shot every time and motor runs strong and transmission shifts perfectly. All options, "mood" lighing, A/C work correctly. Factory wood grain trim is present throughout the van. There are NO check engine or ABS warning lights on. There is no major rust anywhere (some slight "surface" rust underneath). There is a CLASS II hitch attached with electronic brake controller that operates perfectly. Great for towing a camper or a boat! I purchased this van from eBay myself as a salvage vehicle and performed some repairs (noted below) for optimal performance. It appears as there was a minor infraction with the driver corner. The repair is cosmetically poor (paint is poor, bumper never replaced), but mechanically fine. I planned on addressing this issue, had I not decided to upgrade to something bigger. Van drives straight and cruises nice at highway speeds.You will get a NJ SALVAGE TITLE that can be registered in any state. Some of the repairs made in this past year (all receipts inclued):- Front ball joints replaced- Front shocks replaced- Steering box replaced[These items above brought the van to an nice and "tight" steering feel]- Both front captains chairs were "recushioned" to factory specification [The seats are firm without any "soft" spots]- A new battery was installed- A flat screen monitor was integrated replacing the old tube TV. Some issues that may need to be addressed:- Repair driver corner properly- Horn, cruise, airbag are inoperative. A ford specialist referred to this as a faulty "clockspring" in the steering column. Runs about $120 from parts, and you must install. Again, something I was going to tackle if I kept the van.- Passenger mirror needs to be replaced, power motor is inoperative. It appears that this van was "abandoned" and sat for about 6-7 years. I think this added to its good condition and low miles for it's year. If the front driver fender and bumper where to be repaired cosmetically, this van would be perfect. PLEASE NOTE that this is a 18 year, old daily commuter car with 124k miles, and although it drives great and everything works properly, please understand that you are not getting a showroom van!! Currently, the van carries a valid NJ inspection sticker due until September of 2012. This van runs great, and can be converted to many uses. Interior is almost immaculate for the age. It would be a shame to part this vehicle out, for it still has a lot of life left. Again, we have driven this van on many trips without failure, so it can be driven basically anywhere.
