This is a relist with a lowered price. Please read the description carefully. On an overall scale of 1-5 with 5 being the best I'd rate this Sport Fury a solid 2.5. It is not a show car but a solid driver with a lot of potential. As someone who has bought and sold for several years on eBay what I have appreciated most from buyers and sellers is honesty and good communication something I've practiced from my first transaction. I do my best to describe the good, bad and the ugly when I'm the seller....so here goes. As you can see from the photos this is a sharp looking 64. An older restoration or I might call it a "freshing up" was done ten or twelve years ago. At that time the red was applied over the original white paint after the right rear quarter panel was damaged and more old style bondo was probably used than needed. As a result today it's beginning to shrink and crack and looking down the quarter it's a bit wavy. The rest of the car is realitivly straight and probably has some filler here and there. Otherwise the paint is shiney and looks decent at twenty feet... Trunk appears to be solid, there has been some repair work on the driver's side floor. Under the hood is decent for the age of the car, right inner fender shows some old damage nothing appears structural ...frame appears straight as well as the fender. The stainless and chrome is decent some minor pitting here and there. The grill has a bar missing headlight covers good condition. Interior is original, expect maybe the carpets. Seats are in great shape for their age just a small seam split on the rear seat. Someone attempted to cover the front door panels look ok, rear panels original again in good condition. Dash panel has a wrapped cover again ok. Headliner, other than needing a cleaning, looks good. The gages will need work, there is no radio. Mechanically the 318 Poly runs exceptionally well doesn't smoke and has no noticeable leaks or blow-by. Has dual exhaust with "tube" type flow master mufflers....sounds good not to loud. No noticable rear end noise. Transmission shifts fine although it has an issue in "park". Car will roll if e-brake is not applied may just need a cable adjustment. It drives and stops without any major issues. The front end "floats" a little my guess it is the small tires on the front. All in all it's a decent 64 and as I said has a lot of potential.
