Low reserve price! 1996 GMC Savanna box truck. I've owned this for almost a year. We are not doing deliveries anymore so we don't need the truck. The truck runs fine, good transmission, new brakes in the front. Tires are fair. Box is in good condition. Known problems: Air conditioning does not blow cold Front brakes need to have new wheel speed sensors installed. Occasionally the front brakes will NOT work due to an electronic issue with the ABS. I believe it is the wheel speed sensors, which are a known issue on these trucks. If the truck thinks the brakes have locked up, it will completely deactivate that brake. Sometimes one wheel will not work and the truck will pull hard to one side. Other times, neither front brake works. I spent $1,500 having the front rotors and discs completely replaced a few months ago. Mechanically, the brakes are new in the front. But something in the ABS will occasionally deactivate them. With that said, I drove this truck all over the place (very very carefully) as it is. But I would not recommend it. Water leaks into the front cab when it rains. Needs to be sealed up. Cracked mirror glass The good stuff: It cranks up and runs fine. Good transmission. The rear box door works great. Includes a loading ramp. Radio works fine. I have a clear title in hand. No sales tax in Georgia (b/c I'm a private seller.) Please email or call with questions. This is a good truck for someone who needs a spare truck or local delivery vehicle. Note the issue with the brakes I described above. The Chevrolet dealership quoted about $650 for them to replace the wheel speed sensors.
