1996 Jaguar XJR This car is being sold as is and the shipping/pick up/transport of the car will be the responsibility of the winning bidder. The car is in fairly good condition and was running well as my work car. Several months ago, the car started to become hard to start (took 3 or more turns to get the car started). Shortly afterward, it just didnt start anymore. The engine turns over but just does not start. (spark/air/fuel... your guess is as good as mine) From feedback that I have gotten off Jaguar forums, many believe that the fuel pump may be the culprit. I can not test this and I do not have the money for someone else to look it over and I surely do not have the money now to get it fixed. Prior to this, the car ran great. The A/C blew cold and most everything worked. The biggest problem I have had with the car is the driver side door hand cable broke on the inside. The window motor on the same door also broke. The sunroof rails broken so I sealed the sunroof to keep water from entering the car. Should be easy to remove if need be. The climate controller in the dashboard plastic tabs that held it in place also broke off but the A/C worked. Transmission was is good working order. No rough shifts. No leaks. Engine was also in good working order. Turbos worked well. No leaks. Note that the problem could be anything and I do not know for sure. It could be a simple fix like a spark-plug, or something more intense like the fuel pump needing to be changed. This is a great car for parts or if you are capable of troubleshooting it would be a great project car. The car is being sold as is and consider it a parts or project car. There is NO BATTERY. I removed it from the car after it would not start. Everything else is in place. The car is in good condition with no rust and no damage. The paint is a little rough as you can see in the pictures. The interior is in good shape. The Seats are in good condition but could use some cleaning and reconditioning. Shipping of this car will be the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. The winning bidder will be responsible to call/contact a place that will tow/ship the car at the winning bidders expense. We will only provide the keys and title when the pick up of the vehicle is made. The car must be moved/shipped/towed within 1 week (7 days) after the close of the auction.
