2006 VTX 1800 Custom ****No Reserve**** This bike was purchased used in 2008 and immediately torn apart to begin the customization. The neck of the bike was cut and stretched 2" out and 2" up and the angle was changed to give the bike about a 40 degree rake on the front forks. The gas tank was then raised in the front for smoother lines and the rear of the frame was cut to eliminate the stock rear fender and allow for the flush mount custom. The rear tire is a 300mm bolt on kit purchased from Raw Designs out of New Jersey and I added the optional left hand rear brake option which moves the rear brake to the left side of the bike with the final drive. The bike has a set of custom handlebars, Supreme Legends forward controls and hand controls. The brake lights are flush mount LED's located in the rear fender and the rear blinkers (also LED's) have been moved behind the seat to conceal them. The bike has a set of inverted front forks, plus 12", smoothie rear wheel and a 21" Czar Eclipse front wheel with matching rotor. The bike has a power commander, a Thunder Manufacturing Hurricane air intake and a LoJack system. The light switch, kill switch and blinker switch have been relocated beneath the tank to keep the handlebars as clean as possible. A custom front fender, custom pipes, side mount license plate and custom paint job pretty much wrap up the customization. I'm sure I'm forgetting something... so please feel free to ask questions. The title is clean and the bike has under 8500 miles on it. The fat box (how the engineers at Raw Designs get the drive shaft around the fat tire) leaks a little oil, there is a chip in the paint on the headlight (about half the size of a dime, see picture) and the rear brake pedal bounces a little under heavy breaking. Other than these minor issues the bike is in great condition.
