Vehicle Detail
I just bought this truck for $2,500, and did $900 in repairs ($3,400 into it), however I just received a large cash settlement and bought a NEW Ram Sport. Truck is a 1992 Ramcharger Canyon Sport with the potent Fuel Injected 5.2 liter 318 V-8. This truck RUNS AWESOME. Not a puff of smoke, or drop of oil. This model year offered 80 additional horsepower, and a color-matched grille. It shows 169k on odometer, and got 14.28 MPG driving to Dallas from California. I wouldn't hesitate to take this vehicle on any long trip as it is! It just needs some TLC..! However it does need some minor repairs: needs used front axle to make 4x4 work (teeth wore), a catalytic converter, and work to make Emergency brake operate. I just put new brake pads on front, and rotors looked evenly worn, and thick. truck has 31 inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires (80% up front and 50% in rear). It has a new muffler, and tailpipe (Muffler is a Flowmaster 40 series copy, and it sounds GREAT)! This thing sounds THROATY. Has new Cap/Rotor, new plug wires. Runs like a TOP as it sits, but needs a few minor things. Interior looks ok, but could use seat covers. Headliner is intact. Driver's seat has one cut, and rear seat has a few cuts/tears, but looks ok since I usually fold it up anyway (jealous ex-GF attacked rear seat)... For some reason the passenger's seat isn't bolted-down (I just haven't had time to do). Original owner said he hit a deer a while back, so lower passenger fender is wrinkled and bumper was replaced with a Montana Dept of forestry winch bumper. I was planning on doing a quick restore on it (white pass fender is simple to find), and just re-paint bottom color. Luckily this truck is not completely oxidized, or peeling up top (like most do)... These trucks are getting HARD TO FIND (especially fuel injected ones)..! HIGEST BID GETS IT. I AM MOVING AND CANNOT TAKE VEHICLE.
