This Porsche is a rust free clean car REBUILT MECHANICALLY.(as branded on title. see pic) NO ACCIDENTS EVER!(as stated in AUTOCHECK) with the following aftermarket parts installed with a 5.7 350 small block chevy with TBI fuel system. motor is stock with headers and is 300hp. Car will handle up to 600hp as set up now. This 928S runs and drives strong and better than original. A/C is converted and is all new and cold. Heat is hot. Needs radio installed and heat fan switch is in need of a new one soon. P.S.This is my personal toy and its on the money! 928S Conversion When the 928 was introduced in late 1977, they outperformed almost anything in its class and won the hearts of movie-goers as this German touring car took center stage in Risky Business. Unfortunately, they were never known for impressive horse power or terrific reliability. Through the years the cars evolved with more creature comforts, better brakes and suspension, a sleeker exterior, and a little more power. …BUT, costly maintenance and un-impressive acceleration was a major downfall. For another automobile manufacturer, building a simple, reliable, powerful, light weight, V8 was easy. So, Renegade Hybrids developed a Small Block Chevy conversion kit and made a perfect match. ( picture ) You will realize several advantages when you convert to Chevy power. Cost is the most immediate benefit; Repairing or replacing a Porsche 928 motor is extremely expensive. With the installation of a Chevy engine, these costs will be dramatically reduced. This means no more $1,400 clutch jobs, $3500 timing belt repairs, or $500 water pumps! The 928 conversion to Small Block Chevy V-8 power is relatively inexpensive and simple to install. Since the 928 was essentially produced to accommodate a V-8 engine, many of the components required for other Porsche model conversion are not necessary. Upgrades to the suspension, transmission, brakes, etc., are not required. Thus, the basic engine kit offered by Renegade may be all you need to make your 928 fast, reliable, and economical. The 928 engine conversion kit has been intelligently designed with the do-it-yourself mechanic in mind. It is essentially a bolt-in swap and requires no cutting or welding. Quality custom made parts make this conversion look clean and perform efficiently. The entire engine conversion process should require only 20 - 30 hours to complete and is less difficult that removing the old 928 motor and replacing it with another 928 motor.
