1974 Short Box Step Side IHC pickup. Fresh Chevy 327 ( large journal ) bored.040, all new internals, mild Crane cam, roller rockers, studed mains, World Product heads w/2.02 valves, 700r4, Edelbrok air gap and carb., headers, Smitthy mufflers, Dana 3.73 rear end, MSD, power brakes ( disc front drum rear ), straight rust and bondo free body, all new glass and interior. Nice cruiser, 1800 rpm at 60 mph. Took the motor to the dyno after I got it out of the machine shop and it made 404 hp @ 6,200 and 396 lb. fet @ 5,600. Very easy to drive, elec. fan keeps it cool all the time. Approx. 2,000 mi. on motor and trans. Also, new BFG's and Cragars. This is a really nice truck, you don't see too many around as nice as this one and with a short step side box. I just don't have time to enjoy it anymore and I am tired of paying the storage fee. I would consider a trade for a nice skid loader ( 2,200 lb. lift or more ) with cash your way. Don't want anything that needs work. A couple have ask about the intake manifold. The air gap intake was added after these pictures were taken and, yes, the 327 did seem to like it.
