NO RESERVE!!! BID TO OWN!!! WOW!!! This 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis is unbelievable!! It has always been a TN car..bought new in Henderson, TN and remained all it's life within 30 miles of Henderson (in Jackson, TN). A doctor and his wife purchased the car brand new at Dwain Seaton Ford in Henderson (still in business!!) and sold it to the owners that I got it from out of their estate. The car has 56942 ACTUAL and ORIGINAL miles and has been garaged all it's life! The condition is remarkable..the paint is original and the car has never been in any accidents and has had no body repair at all. LOOK at the AUTOCHECK report (like CAR FAX) included in this auction and you can see there are NO PROBLEMS with the vehicle at all and it verifies the 2 owners before I bought it out of the estate and also verifies no accident history and that the miles are actual and TRUE! This vehicle has NOT been professionally detailed, touched up, or made to appear nicer than it is...I hand washed it and wiped the interior down...so what you see is the actual untouched condition of a very fine automobile in fantastic condition. You can have it detailed out and touched up if you wish..I wanted you to see how nice this car is ..with just a wash job!! The motor is the 5.0 V8 and it purrs like a kitten!! The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and as it should! The a/c blows cold (I had it changed over to the new R134 freon and had the entire system checked out and it is in excellent condition! The heat works great. The power windows all work but you have to help the front ones going down...they do go down if you put you hand on them and lightly push....the motors or guides probably just need to be lubricated..easy fix but I didn't want to do anything to make this car anything but 100% original!! The radio and cassette player works fine and the antenna still goes up and down as it should! The rear window defroster works fine, as does the windshield wipers. The door locks all work fine with the electric button except the drivers door..it doesn't lock when you push the button but locks just fine with the key (again probably just needs to be lubricated). The drivers side electric seat works fine. The electric mirrors work fine. The automatic trunk release works fine. The cruise control works flawlessly!! It has tilt steering and is the LS model so it has the fancy wheels and padded vinyl roof! The seats are LEATHER and all in excellent condition with no tears or breaks...see pictures to see for yourself!! Two (2) sets of keys and the original owners manual! There are several pictures of the car so please look at all the pics closely to know that this car is unbelievable for a 21 year old car. There is a few little nicks here and there but nothing that is bad at all and nothing that some touch up won't take care of quickly (again..I didn't want to do anything to make this car anything but 100% original and accurate!!) On the passenger side back fender there is one small dent and the piece of trim underneath is slightly dented...this isn't bad AT ALL and you really have to look to even see it..but I want to be 100% honest. I doubt anyone would want to do a thing in the world about the small dent since you can hardly even see it..but that would be up to the new owner!! I have provided a picture of that small dent and bit of trim that I am talking about so PLEASE see it for yourself and know that it's nothing bad at all! ALL the other trim and chrome pieces on the car are in excellent condition..no dents, discoloration, pits, etc etc. The pics all speak for themselves! There is a BRAND NEW matched set of tires on the car with less than 1000 miles on them! There is NO RUST at all on the vehicle...even underneath it looks like NEW! I have included two pics of the gas tank underneath the car so you can see there is no rust and it looks about like new underneath!! I drive this car three or four times a week so the miles will reflect that little amount of driving when you get it but I guarantee it will still have around 57k original miles on it when you get it!! You can look high and low and not find another car like this one or in the fantastic condition it is in. Is it a brand new car?? NO...it is a 21 year old car with right at 57k original miles and is in unbelievably remarkable and original condition...anyone would be very proud to own this car!! If you want me to take more pictures of anything on the car..or any part of it...all you have to do is ASK and I will quickly take them for you and send them! I prefer payment via PayPal if you are going to have the vehicle shipped to you..but I will accept a personal check but there is a 10 day WAITING period for the check to clear BEFORE the car is shipped!! If you are picking it up in person I prefer cash...definitely no checks and no money orders or scams. Auction is to be paid for in full within 3 days after the auctions end..that means if you are picking it up in person you have to do so and bring cash within 3 days of the auction ending! I am going to post a few more facts about this car that I have been asked a few times...hopefully these facts will help you decide just how nice this car is and encourage your bids! First..I want to correct something that I found out in searching for some answers. I stated that the car was purchased at Dwain Seaton Ford in Henderson, TN. Actually..it was a new DEALER TRADE from Dwain Seaton Ford and was traded to Brownsville Ford (no longer in business) and the original owners actually bought the car from Brownsville Ford when it was brand new! I apologize..and wanted to clarify so that you know I am 100% honest. Brownsville TN is 15 miles from Jackson..so it was still purchased and has been right here in the Jackson TN area all it's life!! Now..to some more facts about this car: Air Ride Suspension was an OPTION in 1990 and I don't believe this car came with it. There is no mention of it in the owner's manual and there is no problem indicator light on the instrument cluster so I just don't think it has it. I am going to check with a Ford dealership later today to find out for sure and if I find out it does have it I will post a correction at that time..but I am 98% sure it isn't equipped with the air ride suspension (which is a very GOOD thing since they were so problematic on the sedans of this era! (I believe most of you would definitely agree with me on that!) There are NO SIGNS of this being a smoker's car. The ashtrays don't appear to have been used and the cigarette lighter doesn't looked used. I can't PROMISE or SWEAR that the car has never been smoked in since it's 21 years old and I have no idea who has rode in it..but the regular signs of being smoked in are NOT there...nor is there any of the usual smoke/stale smells! There is also no signs or smells of any pets being carried around in the car...again..I can't promise or swear..but there are no signs visible. I had the oil, oil filter, and air filter changed about 900 miles ago and had the transmission fluid and coolant checked and was told they are fine. There are NO LEAKS on this car anywhere...no signs of any on the driveway after sitting. This car does NOT have the climate control system for the heat and air. If you look at the pic I provided of the controls you can tell it does not..but some have asked so I wanted to be clear on that. Again...in my opinion this is a very good thing since they were always problematic! The drivers seat IS electric..the front passenger seat is NOT. Sometimes when it is reset it doesn't work for a while..then it will start working out of the blue...no idea why. The ODOMETER works fine with no issues at all and the miles are true and accurate!! Just wanted to mention this since I forgot about it until I drove to the grocery store today and noticed it stayed at "0000" when I reset it.
