Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a stock 2001 Eclipse Spyder GT with an automatic transmission. It currently has 136000 miles, and there has been no mechanical problems due to proper maintenance on this vehicle. It is a good looking sporty coupe, that often draws compliments wherever it goes. It has 18" chrome wheels that really compliment the style of this car. The miles are mostly highway miles that have been accumulated, and the previous owner who happens to be a good friend of mine, sold it to me only because he had an expansion of the family and needed an SUV. It has a 205-hp V6 engine, which equates to a comfortable and reasonably powerful ride, yet in a reliable manner. Shipping will be at the buyer's expense, alhtough I can assist with this, as I have also purchased a vehicle in a similar manner. The title is clear, there has been no accidents. I am certain that this car would last for a much longer time, and for a lot more open roads, but seeing as I have three other cars very similar to this one, it is not a necessity and the way the economy has been, assets such as this one are not a premium. On Apr-14-11 at 22:58:17 PDT, seller added the following information: The interior is as good as it could be given the age. Eclipses are known for giving out on the interior first (dashboard, seats, door panels, etc.) but it was maintained, so none of this is present. The tires were all replaced within the past three months, so the tread or wear on the tires is not an issue. Dents or dings, none noticable, but there is very slight paint fading on the drivers side front bumper area below the headlamps. As far as a vehicle inspection goes, it has been completely serviced regularly prior to me having, as well as the time that I have had it. I have no fear that it would make a 1000 mile trip without any worries. Oil changes, Radiator flushing and cleaning, and transmission fluid is less than a month old. Battery terminals have been replaced just last week. The battery itself has been replaced two months ago. The spark plugs have no oil on them, which would indicate some sort of oil leaking, there is no issues with it cranking up or starting. The transmission shifts smoothly, and when it is manual mode there is a noticable difference, similar to a stick shift... I know as I routinely drive a stock 1995 mustang gt 5-speed, and this car will hold its own against even most late-model stock american muscle (V8) cars, but with a smoother ride. The headlights have been replaced with bright white lights, some night vision will not be an issue.
