Please note, these are file photos. I am unable to photograph the car today because I am not in Florida where I have the car stored. As soon as I get there, I will take photos. In case you don't know what file photos are, they are pictures of another 1948 cadillac of the same model. In this case the photos are courtesy of the RM auction site, from lot #635 of the Hershey 2009 auction, where a car identical to mine sold for $93,000 in unrestored condition. These are NOT pictures of the car for sale. The purpose of file photos is to show what the car looks like (not the condition of the car, but the general shape and size). It is done all the time. If you intend to buy the car, you are under no obligation to pay any money until you see the car in person and approve of the car personally. I don't keep deposits as a form of profit. If you give a deposit, it will only be to hold the car until you can see it. If you don't like the car, you get the money back. Also note, that since the car in the photos appears to be in perfect condition, it looks exactly like mine. (mine is in perfect condition too) It is also the same color. SO feel free to use these photos as a representation of my car. Once a car is as nice as mine, imperfections can't be seen in photos. They can't even be seen in person at the distance these photos are taken. My 1948 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Limousine is fully restored. It is a CCCA Full Classic. It looks and runs perfectly. Everything works. Everything was done correctly. The sheetmetal is so straight, it looks like a mirror. The engine is so quiet you can not hear it running. It has the hydramatic transmission. power windows including the divider. All new interior done with correct materials and procedures. The front compartment is new, pleated black leather. Real leather on the seats and doors. It smells and feels great. The rear compartment is done in wool broadcloth, just as it is supposed to. The paint and chrome are new and beautiful. The black paint is wet sanded so there is no trace of orange peel. The underside is clean enough to eat off of and so is the engine compartment. A car identical to this one sold for $93,000 last year at RM auctions. I bought this car fully restored 5 years ago. The restoration cost more than what I paid for the car. I have $24,000 invested in this one, and you can have it for $24,000. Or best offer. It could not be duplicated for double this price with the cost of restoration work these days. I am selling my real estate and will have no place to store my cars. Please note that the mileage I listed for the car is estimated. I seem to remember it had about 80,000 miles but I could be mistaken, as I have many old cars and I am not near the car now.
