Selling for a friend...... Up for sell is a 1971 Chevy sting ray vette LS5. Chevrolet Stingray Corvette. It has new brakes, u-joints, tires, trailing arms, suspension (bushings tie-rods, etc...) The owner was told that all the numbers were matching. This car has power brakes. The engine is a 454 Big Block. The engine was recently completely rebuilt but for some unknown reason it is smoking out one side. Although it runs STRONG! March aluminum serpentine belt pulleys and aluminum dual electric fan BECOOL radiator. Ceramic coated headers, electronic ignition with tachometer drive The interior needs some work. The seats and dash are good but it doesn't have carpet. There is a brand new set of sound deadening heat shields that go under the carpet, that come with it and also brand new set of floormats with the corvette emblem on them. The exterior was painted 4 years ago, however it does have cracks and flaws. The bumpers are in fair/good condition. Tires are like new but have age on them. It does have newer model wheels on it, but do not know what year they are. All of them emblems and tail lights are in great condition. This model has the t-tops and removeable back window. All new vacuum lines and actuaters were added to to the headlights and the windshield wipers, but currently are not hooked up. This car is driveable and it runs strong but does need some TLC. Too many projects going on and not enough time and money to spend on it. It is showing 70K miles on it, but due to the age mileage is exempt.
