I am selling my 1997 Honda Gold Wing. Due to health reasons and a bad back this motorcycle is not practical for me any longer. I bought this motorcycle in 2005 with 50,000 miles on it. It has been garage kept since I have gotten it and i have only put on it about 3000 miles. I have replaced the tires and brakes on it since I have owned it. In the past 4 years i have probably put only 500 miles on it. Because it has sat for so long I had the carburetor worked on 2 years ago. After i got the motorcycle back from the carburetor repair place it seemed like the adjustment might have been slightly off and so i have to leave the choke half on when I come to a stop to avoid stall outs. I would have taken the bike back but the motorcycle shop ended up moving out and is no longer convenient. So the bike is drivable but you have to leave the choke half on. I would recommend whom ever buys this bike, would perform a full tuneup and replace all fluids. Now the good things about this bike, it is a very smooth ride and has lights all over it including the ring of fire on the front fork. The bike comes with a helmet with mic and earphones. The bike is set up with XM radio and Air horns. Everybody can hear you coming with these horns. The exterior is in good condition for its age and has custom pen-striping. This bike comes with all the bells and whistles, including reverse, AM FM cassette, CB, intercom, cruse control, add on grips, highway pegs ,seat with drivers back rest. comes with on board compressor and air hose.new battery.there is small scratch on driver side bag shown in pic.Excellent condition. There is a crack in one of the side covers under the gas tank in picture 5On Apr-15-11 at 06:50:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I pulled the bike out of the garage yesterday to show to someone locally and I noticed that the horns would not work properly therefore we may have a leak in the air system or a problem with the on board compressor. It did work last weekend as I was taking pictures of it to put it on ebay. FYI.
