Beautiful 1969 VW Beetle. Vehicle was the subject of a major restoration in 2001. I am the third owner. The previous owner bought it from his neighbor in the 70s and it became his sons college commuter. After college the car sat in his driveway until the 90s at which time he and his son undertook a father son restoration project and brought the car back to beautiful condition. The car was then only used for pleasure and was kept garaged. I have all receipts to document the restoration costs.!!!! ALOT OF MONEY WENT INTO THIS RESTORATION!!! Runs and drives excellent. Engine is smooth with no smoke. Recent tune up. New Solex carburetor installed last year. New gas tank installed last year. Suspension and steering is excellent. Car drives straight and smooth with no shakes or shimmys or pulls at highway speed. The suspension and engine restorations alone cost $5852.59. Tires are like new with no dry rot. they have always been protected from the sun. The body is straight and clean .Interior is in very good condition. New carpeting and upholstery were installed during the restoration. There is a small crack in the dashboard. Car is currently registered in New York. THIS BETTLE GET ALL THE LOOKS EVERYWHERE I GO...NOT TO MEATION..PEOPLE START PUNCHING THERES FRIENDS WHEN I PASS BY!!!....ALOT OF FUN ALL AROUND!!!
