AMAZING 1987 Honda CRX HF High Fuel Efficiency with extremely low 49299 original miles, hardly even used. 5-speed. Superb condition. RARE. This exact model car was featured on CNN Money in 2007 as the car that got the best mileage ever in the nation with better fuel economy than any car sold now - even the hybrid Toyota Prius. Our teenage daughter bought this car in 2009 with the intent of taking it to college in Oregon. She ended up in Calif. though and couldn’t deal with having NO AIR CONDITIONING, so it’s been sitting garaged since then. My understanding of the car’s history is that it originally belonged to an elderly woman who used it as a second vehicle and barely drove it. She passed away and left it to her pastor, who gave it to his granddaughter. She had kids though and needed a bigger car. That’s when we found it on craigslist. Chico Car Care 530-343-1130 has taken care of this vehicle since we’ve had it and will vouch for it. I plan to get the car smogged this week and don’t anticipate any problems. This car is zippy and runs and shifts beautifully. It’s fun to drive and has a new Kenwood stereo with auxiliary input for your ipod. No smoking or leaking or bad odors. Clean clear title. No known history of any accidents. Paint is original and faded with ‘normal for its age’ dents, dings, flaws as shown in photos. No air conditioning. Needs new windshield wiper arm; the original falls off. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. We also put in a brand new battery yesterday. The tires have around 50% left and yes there's a spare.
