The Continental name was revived by Ford in 1955 as a separate nameplate for the production of the Continental Mark II. The Continental was one of the most exclusive and expensive automobiles made at the time. The Lincoln Continental Mark V was produced by Ford's luxury division between 1977 and 1979. The Continental was powered by a a 400 cubic inch V8 allowing this Lincoln to be king of the road. There were four designer addition models featured. Bill Blass, Cartier, Givenchy, and Pucci, each featuring a unique option package and exterior and interior colors. Along with an extensive list of factory options, our featured Bill Blass Edition includes, Two tone Midnight Blue Moondust Metallic and White paint with Full vinal roof in White with Opera Windows, Bill Blass monogram in Gold on rear decklid, with dual gold paint stripes outlining decklid as well as on body sides. Midnight Blue leather seating surfaces with White accent straps and piping. Gold buttons with Bill Blass Monogram. The Mark V had every other conceivable factory option available at the time including power vent windows. Cartier Clock, and a miles to empty LED display, a first on any automobile. Our featured Mark V is in very good condition. The exterior paint still having a new car luster. Their is one minor dent on the drivers side front fender. Outside of this, the the body is excellent and free from any rust. The (smoke free) full leather interior is in very good shape as well, and looks surprisingly good for being the origional interior on a car of this age. The car was exclusively garaged by the previous (and only) owner, thus the like new condition of the car. Mechanically, the Continental is in good working order, with all operating systems working properly. Here is a great opportunity to own a piece of the 1970's automotive history.
