PLEASE NOTE : THESE XJ8 SPORT SELL FOR $12,500 RETAIL This No Reserve auction is for a 2002 Jaguar XJ8 Sport featuring leather seats, a power sunroof, wood trim, a power passenger seat, 18” Sport wheels, sport suspension and sport seats. Under the hood is Jaguar's 4.0-liter V8 with double overhead-cams and four valves per cylinder. Called the AJ-V8, it produces 290 horsepower at 6100 rpm and 290 pounds-feet of torque at 4250 rpm. Jaguar's five-speed automatic transmission is smooth, even at full throttle. Since this is a XJ Sport it shares the same naturally aspirated engine found in all XJ8, but borrows the XJR's sport seats and more aggressive suspension and tire/wheel package. It comes with Jaguar XJ Sport 18” Wheels on 255/45R18 Tires. These are beautiful cars. Their soft lines are uniquely Jaguar, stately without being stuffy. The XJ continues a design theme set back in the 1960s. Jaguar tried horizontal, contemporary-looking headlights in the 1980s, but they were so universally assailed that the company returned to the round lights that are critical to the car's overall look. The current design still looks good and has held up amazingly well. Jaguar's uniqueness is especially evident inside. Slipping in is like strolling into an English gentleman's club, with yards of supple leather; luxurious deep-pile carpeting; and polished wood on the doors, instrument panel and steering wheel. The leather is a light and creamy color and the wood trim is beautiful. The steering is handsomely trimmed in all black sport leather and leather surrounds the shifter. The cabin includes one of the best clocks I've ever seen, elegant and straightforward. Instruments are handsome and simple, in keeping with the elegant mood, and easy to read. Memory functions automatically adjust the driver's seat, steering wheel and outside mirror. The driver's seat moves back when Park is engaged for easy exit. It moves forward to its previous position when the ignition is turned on. Throttle response is instantaneous from the XJ8's 290-horsepower V8 engine. Jaguar's XJ cars are fast, stable, and surprisingly agile. They glide along smoothly, making their owners feel like a million bucks. The exterior on this XJ is finished in a glossy and smooth Anthracite Metallic that is complemented by a clean and fresh Tan leather interior accented with a wood trim. Both the exterior and interior are in excellent condition. Super Clean!!! Please keep in mind that this is a used car and it will have some minor cosmetic blemishes. We have taken over 85 pictures so that you can be sure you know what you getting, PLEASE INSPECT THE PICTURES CAREFULLY. The interior is in good condition it shows normal wear for the year of the vehicle. Front seats show normal wear on the leather is in good condition. There are no tears on the seats. Please note : Sunroof cover was changed before and is not the original cover. Under the hood, the engine sounds great and runs really smooth. The transmission shift great. A/C is super cold and the Heater heats up fast. There are no mechanical problems whatsoever. There are no leaks anywhere. This XJ was tuned up and ready to go, all this car needs is a new driver!!!
