This Bug will not be re listed and will sell to the highest Bidder, if not sold here it will be at the Madison Classic Car for sale Corral at the end of April in Jefferson, WI. Well Here we have a Beautifully Restored 1963 Beetle that was made and bought new in Germany by a Army Sgt. who was stationed there and brought it back with him. He paid $1850 and put down $250 and paid it off in 1965. I have the original bill of sale from Germany and the letter from his finance Co. postmarked 1965 cost .05 to mail with the letter removing the lien. The original owner had this Bug from 63 until 2001 when he passed away and his spouse sold it. His name was Clifford and his wifes name was Dollie. I have all the paper work and original owners manual and service book. The Motor is original and believed to be the actual mileage. Not to sure about actual mileage. The Bug has had one repaint in its original L380 Turquoise color, very popular color for 63.Also has 5 new Coker Classic Radial Tires. I just had a tune up done and the valves adjusted, new points, plugs,cap. Runs and drives very nice. Bug does have a couple nicks and dings but nothing major. Wheels are painted in the correct color that they would have been in 63. This Bug is all original, minus the few :V) popular accessories that have been added, ie Wooden Slot Roof Rack, BAMBUS Parcel tray, Rear window Australian Mini Blind, Rear view Mirror Visor, side door visors, Eye Brows on front headlights, Beetle Floor Mats, Very Cool Mr Bubble Head Topper on rear bumper,Gotta love the D-Plate, Cheese Grater Exhaust, VW Mud Flaps, Fender guards front and rear, Stainless Hubcap pullers underneath floor boards inside jack points. Front windshield has been replaced, all other glass is original VW. All this Bug needs is a new owner who wants to have a great time. Every one looks and punches each other and says Turquoise one. :V) GREAT HISTORY on this Bug! Someone is going to be extremely happy with this Bug.
