You are bidding on a 1998 Mercedes Benz C280 Sport. It has 141,584 original miles on it. I purchased this car two years ago for my son, who has kept it in nicer shape than when we bought it. He primarily used it to travel back and forth to school and now college this year. The car still gets around 28 mpg daily. It has been serviced every 3000-3500 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic oil. First I will list all the new things we have had done to it. New brakes about 16 months ago 2 new rear tires Feb 2011 Front Cover & Gasket replaced because it was leaking oil - $700 New wiper motor, linkage, & arm - $1000 New battery - 6 months ago Here are the known things that are wrong with the car. ( Remember it's a 1998 not a 2012 ) Old factory stereo is back in the car and does not work. We took out the aftermarket stereo that we had put in. Front seat speaker grills on both doors are there but fall off sometimes Driver side rear quarter panel has some scratches and a small dent ( we bought it this way ) Minor scuffs across rear bumper Passenger side head lamp is cracked - but does not get any moisture in it at all - strictly cosmetic Minor scuffs on the driver side front bumper. Head liner as you can see on the sunroof is coming down a little. Just needs the plastic vent popped out and tuck it back in. Driver side electric front seat sticks sometimes when trying to move it Low Coolant & Low Washer Fluid lights up on dash even when they are full - I was told by the dealer it's a sensor that cost's about $100 A/C needs charged Also I have (4) Chrome factory Mercedes rims that we never got mounted. They go with the car and are included with the purchase price. Please look at all the pictures and ask any questions before bidding. Paypal account required, and a $500 deposit is required as soon as the auction ends. Car must be picked up and paid for within 5 days after the auction closes. The car has new Pennsylvania Inspection and Emissions stickers on it. good until 6/12. I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere in the US. I have recently bought my son a Jeep Cherokee and was going to make my mid life crisis car out of this Benz, unfortunately my wife has lost her job as of April 1st, so the car has to go.
