1979 BMW 320i. Up for auction is a really nice 1979 BMW 320i. This is a one owner, lady owned, California, original blue plate, and rust free car. The car was traded in at a local BMW new car store. The car is all stock and in good condition for a 32 year old car. The car runs well and has just passed smog, and the air conditioning does work. The speedo/odo and guages work. The paint looks to be almost all original (just has had some touch up on the front of the hood), hardly any dings or scratches. The interior is also original and in great condition, the seats are in good condition under the sheepskin covers. The drivers side headrest has come apart from sun exposure and the dash does have multiple cracks due to sun damage. The car has its original Webasto manual sunroof that tilts up and rolls back, no leaks. The car is rust free, I doubt that there are many of these car left in this condition. In fact the BMW new car store kept this car as a potential display car for their new building, and was kept in storage by them for the past four to five years.
