You are bidding on a restored 1940 Buick Super Model 50 sedan. Car is all original with the exception of the 248 cylinder motor that is from a 1948 Buick. Everything else on the car is original equipment or reproduction. New WWW tires correct as to type and size. New engine turned dash bezels. All guages work as does original Buick Radio. Heater is not hooked up and needs a switch to operate. Engine has been updated with new heads and runs whisper quiet. Transmission first gear is noisy but shifts easily and smoothly into second and third gears. 2nd and 3rd gears are quiet. All new interior from headliner and door panels to seat cushions. All new wiring under headliner but will need to be aware of wiring harness under dash is still orignial cloth. New original and correct 1940 Buick steering wheel. Have added a electric fuel pump to eliminate condensation in gas line. Outside paint is thin in places but has correct two tone paint scheme, Luttington Green and English Green. New repro weatherstriping in trunk and hood. Windshield and back glass as well as door glass needs new weatherstriping. Car drives perfectly and smoothly.
