We have a 1969 MB 280 SL for sale. It has 100181 miles on it but runs beautifully. It is by no means perfect but it is worthy of your attention. We have found one rust through spot under the left front fender behind the bumper and the drivers side window is chipped but not broken. The convertible top is in very good shape. It is chocolate brown and very distinctive. It has new Michelin tires on it and has recently been tuned up and the oil changed. The interior is beautiful. It has a different radio in it but the dash was not disturbed. The vehicle is an occasional driver and not abused. I also have had a new clutch fan and water pump on it. The transmission has been checked and appears to working well. I might also add that the steering wheel has some age cracks in it. The tool kit is complete all the way down to the tire block. Very rare. My wife and I have enjoyed this car for years. We are not the original owners but we have taken good care of it. We need to part company with it unfortunately due to loss of my job and insurance. My wife is in need of a cornea transplant, so something had to go.
